Creating Procedural Rocks in Houdini: Google Meeting Recording
This is a recording of a Google Meeting in which I presented my workflow for creating procedural rocks in Houdini.
I'd like to thank Christian from Genesis Cloud for hosting the meeting so that all of us could join at once. ( Google Hangout has a 10 person limit apparently)
In the first half of this 48 min long video, I share my approach and workflow, starting with creating the base meshes, on to adding geometric details and ways of adding textures procedurally and seamlessly.
Around 15 people joined in and some of them asked questions that I answered in the second half of the video.
The audio/video quality of the recording isn't great but there's definitely a ton of valuable information in there which makes this video a little diamond in the rough :)
The Google Meeting/Hangout was a fun little first time experiment for sure and
